Today was the day Stella McCartney's collection hit the stores. I joined a friend but I must say the hysteria of the Lagerfeld launch was absent... the collection is nice, even a bit pricy here and there when you look at the materials and execution (honestly some items are very poorly done)... but all in all: nice and worth an extra trip to H&M.

No way I wouldn't fight myself in a mass to get such a piece. The footage I saw on TV about that madness, the way people treated that clothes and each other. Thanks. But that was in Amsterdam. I assume Joost you did visit H&M in Rotterdam?

Well than you've 'a poorly done H&M piece with a Stella McCartney-label? I do not come out of my bed so early for such a piece or an 'event;,

But Joost, I do not attack you. Oh no! In your place, with your work, this site etc. I think I would go too just to see what's going on. I'm glad it was worth it.

Wel I didn't actually mean that it was a worthwhile trip for me personally, but for those that are in the neighbourhood of a H&M it's worth to take a look... I was just very curious! The breakfast we had with friends afterwards was good hehe.

Some things were alright, you really need a certain body-type to fit into this collections. Karl's collection was excellent for those with a small frame, Stella is targeted towards women with hips, breasts and butts ;). I nearly drowned in some of the xs sized items, I'm so small hihi.

Hi Maddy, really I don't get the H&M sizes and quality. I'm a S (or XS) or a M. I bought, just as comfy housewear for hanging out in the house TV wide flaired cotton sport trousers for pregnant women! Size? 'L'! I washed them cold and now they are 'S' and lost that comfy feeling! The 'M' fleece jacket, is now 'XS'. Also only cold washed. I've other H&M pieces that wouldn't shrink, or don't look old whatever.......?????
