I thought it was nice to see how the industry manipulates images (including I at Iconique).

Joost, where ever you got this photo's from: I love the 'old' Madonna. I'm so fed up with with all this anti-women older thing. Even young girls are already scared to get old. It's totally ridicilous. A lost for women liberation! That what it is in fact.
And how we do get fooled everyday in every way.......

But of course it's possible to airbrush a younger person older? Yes? I don't accuse you Joost!. Don't get me wrong.

Krissy, I truly do hope that Madonna as a long time icon will stay away from plastic surgery. And be an example that there is something as 'greacefully growing older'.
Just saw a photo of once beautiful Jessica Lange. (The thinking men's bombshell in her highlight days.) She did fall for plastic surgery. And now she looks odd and almost ugly.
I do understandit though because all this pressure in Hollywood on this actresses and on models in fashion is so rough..... But I do hate it!

Mads has done a few small surgeries according to a friend of mine, but very subtle ones... that's the smart way: staying away from the 'surprised look'.

She was right I think, she's always in the spotlights and people judge her looks... Sometimes cosmetics can't do it all and natural beauty needs a little help. I seriously doubt if she ever wore Max Factor make-up on that shoot anyway...

I can't give you insight alas. Someone show me once how they do it.....but I've forgotten all about it.

Would be great if we all post our photo's here: before how we really look and after how we do like it. That is if you want to change something about yourself.

I takes a lot of time, training and discipline. Using tools like the healing brushes, airbrush, blurs, masks etc. There some good books and tutorials on this (http://www.photoshopforphotographers.com/). Photoshop is a powerful tool when you take it out of its standard boundaries, the layer effects won't give you stunning results, it's the way you know how to combine and use them that will make your images different. My best results have been made by using a lot of layers and masks, changing the capacity of these layers to keep it natural etc.

Almost: 11.000 hits! It proves Madonna is a media-seller, whenever she is on a magazine people will buy it. No wonder the paparazzi love her so much ;).

Le Beau Garcon, have you seen the hits yet? Well, critical me has a another opinion as well. People LOVE to see her NOT at her best. I'm very surprised by this that so many does visit this site and did not respond and or interact!

Yes, Madonna will always be one of the biggest icons ever. Not airbrushed or airbrushed! She's beautiful.

I've studied them a lot. I would have love to make some PR for Iconique on other forums. But all that nutcases everywhere.......Seen the Style.com boards lately? It's a shame! Outdated and undeveloped. Same goes for Vogue UK. And thait's the fashion bible......ah well......

I have a flat LCD monitor since a few months. This site looks great on it. Fills out the whole screen. But the sites I mentioned before are now smaller and only in the left cornet of my monitor! Not really advanced I should say.

We'll see what the new Iconique brings. Imo there's beside to many clicks and less visitors etc. nothing wrong with this great site! But anyway: good luck!
